Privacy Policy

Most of it you provide directly: your name, email, and login details; resumes, career goals, education, work experience, job descriptions, interview answers, and uploaded files; plan selections, billing contact details, and messages you send to support.

We also collect usage information automatically: account activity, feature usage, login history, subscription status, plan type, credits used, pages viewed, device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, and cookie and analytics data.

This usage information exists to protect you and keep Impact working, for example rate limiting by IP address to block bots and abuse. It is never used against you, and we never sell it.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive payment records such as your email, plan name, billing cycle, and invoice and subscription status. We never store full card numbers.

We use your information to run your account and provide Impact's tools, process subscriptions through Stripe, generate resume, interview, and career outputs, improve the product, provide support, send account and billing messages, detect fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.

Content you submit, such as resumes, job descriptions, and interview answers, is processed through AI tools to power product features. Do not upload information you do not have the right to share, and remove anything sensitive you do not want processed.

We use cookies and analytics to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure accounts, and understand usage. You can limit cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working correctly.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate Impact, such as Stripe, hosting, analytics, email, customer support, AI processing, and fraud prevention providers, and when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

We keep information as long as needed to provide Impact and meet legal, billing, dispute, and security obligations. You can request deletion of your account at Info@ImpactCareer.org; some records may be kept where the law requires.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no online service is fully secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and account access.

You can access and update your account information, cancel your subscription, unsubscribe from marketing emails, and request deletion of your account. Send requests to Info@ImpactCareer.org.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent. Where the GDPR applies, we process data under your consent, our contract with you, or our legitimate interests; California residents have similar rights under the CCPA, and we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email Info@ImpactCareer.org. EU and UK users can also complain to their local data protection authority.

Impact is not intended for children under 13, or under the higher minimum age some countries set, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child provided information, contact us at Info@ImpactCareer.org and we will delete it.

If you access Impact from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
